Maxwell Municipal Golf Course is a public course in Abilene. It has an 18-hole with new 50 golf carts. The 18th hole is only 326 yards from the middle tees, while hole 8 is a challenging hole with a sharp dogleg to the left and difficulties on the right. Short par 4s and two par 3s make up the back nine, which only require an 8 or 9 iron at most.
